And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many (Matthew 27:52-53).
When the Son of God died and entered death, it was as if one had been kneading dough with a yeast so powerful that some of the dough spontaneously came forth as finished bread before the baking had even begun.
Or as if when a bomb goes off, a first echo of its blast may be heard from afar before the full force of the explosion is felt.
